When Enough is Enough: A Comprehensive Guide to Successful Intervention
Author: Candy Finnigan
From a nationally recognized addiction specialist featured on the A&E series Intervention, a comprehensive and compassionate guide to confronting a loved one with an addiction.
What do you do when someone you care about is caught in the downward spiral of addiction? The goal of an intervention is to get the person who is addicted to alcohol, to drugs, to gambling, to sex, to what have you to seek treatment-to seek treatment today. And it is remarkably effective: over 80 percent of people faced with an intervention agree to get help. In When Enough Is Enough, Candy Finnigan offers support, advice, and hope to people who care about someone with an addiction. She acknowledges that although intervention is a powerful tool, it is a complicated process-one that absolutely must be done right.
This kind of confrontation must be highly structured, and Finnigan-a veteran of hundreds of interventions-provides a frank but sympathetic guide to preparing for and staging an intervention. By talking readers through the personal, medical, psychiatric, financial, and legal issues involved, she turns what seems like a chaotic and overwhelming task into a manageable and empowering experience.

Kundalini & the Chakras: Evolution in this Lifetime
Author: Genevieve L Paulson
How many chakras do you have? You may be surprised to know that there are hundreds located all over the body. Each one has a purpose and they all work with the kundalini energy which can move through them. You'll learn about all of this and more in Kundalini and the Chakras by Genevieve Lewis Paulson.
The chakras are areas where energy flows in and out of the body. Through the use of techniques involving visualization, breathing, sound, massage, and more, you'll learn how to cleanse and safely open the chakras to the kundalini energy.
You will also discover that many of the problems you have - be they physical, mental, spiritual or emotional - may be caused by one of three problems with the chakras: Either they are blocked and do not allow the energy to flow, they are unbalanced in relation to the other chakras, or they are so open that energy is lost. Simple, safe, and effective methods for dealing with all of these problems can be found in Kundalini and the Chakras.
The book provides a clear program for developing the chakras. It also explains their function so you can know which chakras to work with in order to overcome problems. For example there is a chakra at the navel which is the strongest of the emotional chakras. If it is too open you can become overly emotional and not think clearly. If it is blocked you may have less refined or developed feelings. Another pair of chakras, on each side of the neck, reflect self-respect and feelings of worth. If they're too open you may end up prideful while if they're blocked you may have neck tension. The book reveals how to deal with all of these situations and more.
This book is provides information about the chakras that, until now, has been virtually unknown and unappreciated. For a full understanding of the chakras and the kundalini energy, get this book today.
Author Biography: Genevieve Lewis Paulson is the director and president of Dimensions of Involvement, Inc., a non-profit growth center located on 165 acres of the Ozark mountains in Arkansas, a center of psychic, personal, and spiritual learning, accrediting students in the study of Kundalini energy development. In the early 1970s, she founded Sunergos, Inc., a spiritual growth center in Chicago. Where her new experiences might have led her to abandon Western religious beliefs, she instead found a method to meld two varieties of truth, creating a synthesis of two great traditions of belief.
